Officers from the Yorktown Police Department were dispatched to a Saw Mill River Road residence shortly after 12:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning, following reports of a domestic incident.

Police said that the investigation into the incident determined that 59-year-old Nuala Anne O’Connor “harassed the victim by striking him in the face, which is in violation of a duly served order of protection by the Yorktown Justice Court.”

O’Connor was arrested and charged with second-degree criminal contempt, a misdemeanor. She is currently being held at Yorktown Police Headquarters pending arraignment.
